A Campaign for Mentoring: Leading Practices in Program Management
Join regional leaders in the mentoring movement as they come together for a conference entitled: "A Campaign for Mentoring: Leading Practices in Program Development." Whether you are an experienced mentor services provider or new to the mentoring field this exciting conference will provide useful resources and training in the areas of energizing and retaining mentors, mentor training, cultural competency issues for mentors, how to start a mentoring program, and more. Keynote speaker Joellen Gonder-Spacek, a national leader in the mentoring field, will provide an overview of recent mentoring developments in the United States and she will focus on the social return on investment of youth mentoring programs. The half day conference, which will also be the kickoff for a regional mentoring campaign, will be held on Friday, December 14 at the Trefoil Oaks Conference Center in Racine, WI.
